I love this too, when I pull down on it, and then I get to a point of no return and it just clicks into place and gets kind of stuck in my ass hole.

Yes, it’s both for making it just slightly smaller and to make the texture a bit nicer, it feels more like silicone if you take the cover off. I have a couple new plugs now to replace this one which are much higher quality.
